ERASMUS+ 2024 – 2027

Die erste Begegnung mit dem wichtigen Thema „Nachhaltigkeit“ führte uns, elf Schüler und Schülerinnen gemeinsam mit den Erasmuslehrkräften Ruth Stegmann und Natascha Afanassjew zusammen mit Schulen aus Sizilien und Madrid nach Irland, genau genommen nach Longford.
Los ging es am Sonntag, 17. März 2024, dem St. Patrick’s Day.
Es stand eine Woche mit verschiedenen Projekten an: Food waste (mit einem international Kochbuch für „left overs“) – „slow fashion“ und creating logos – waren Teil der Inhalte. In gemischten Gruppen gab es viel Diskussion und Austausch. Neben der inhaltlichen Projektarbeit durften natürlich Land und Leute nicht zu kurz kommen: Galway, der Atlantik und zu guter Letzt die irische Hauptstadt Dublin.
Recht schnell wurden Freundschaften geschlossen – und so manche Schüler werden unsere Partner aus Paris, Madrid, Longford (Irland) und Enna (Sizilien) im Oktober in München begrüßen können.

”The Erasmus project was great! I had never been to Ireland before. Despite the rainy weather, we had a great time.
Together with the other students, we were able to talk and discuss important environmental issues.
What was also good about the trip: I could expand my vocabulary and improve my English.”
"Erasmus gave me a unique experience that was not only found in Ireland's nature.
The Irish students also gave us an insight into their culture. I noticed that my English improved considerably through the continuous use of the English language. At the beginning, it was difficult to converse in English, but the more days passed the easier it became for me.
At the end of my brief summary of my highlights in Ireland, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who was involved in the project, students, teachers and of course Erasmus."
